長(zhǎng)城汽車在港停牌以澄清與寶馬合資報(bào)道

Great Wall Motor, China’s largest SUV maker, requested a trading halt in Hong Kong on Thursday pending clarification over a report that it was entering a joint venture with BMW that saw its share price spike to a two-year high.

中國(guó)最大的運(yùn)動(dòng)型多功能車(SUV)制造商長(zhǎng)城汽車(Great Wall Motor)周四要求其在香港上市的H股停牌，以待發(fā)出有關(guān)澄清新聞報(bào)道的公告。此前有報(bào)道稱長(zhǎng)城汽車即將與寶馬(BMW)成立合資公司，該報(bào)道使前者股價(jià)飆升，至兩年以來的高點(diǎn)。

Great Wall’s shares closed 14.3 per cent higher in Hong Kong on Wednesday following a report by a Shanghai-based auto news website that the company was in talks to partner with BMW in China.

周三長(zhǎng)城汽車H股收盤上漲14.3%。此前一家上海汽車新聞網(wǎng)站報(bào)道稱長(zhǎng)城汽車正與寶馬商談在中國(guó)成立合資公司的事宜。

BMW said in a statement on Wednesday that it does not comment on speculation “as a matter of principle”.

周三寶馬在聲明中表示，“原則上”不對(duì)猜測(cè)置評(píng)。
