* 地攤:street stall 擺地攤: set up a street stall
* 擺地攤(賣貨):Run a street stall
Running a street stall can be a great way to start a business.
I’m a street vendor. / I’m a stall keeper.
No big deal, we can go running street stall !
* night markets 夜市
* vacation locations 度假地點
* touristic place 景區(qū)
* souvenirs /?suv?'n?r/: 法語詞,伴手禮(紀念品)
* gadget /'gæd??t/ : 小玩意
They are more like a store that extends into the streets.
有些人會place some products on the ground(把產(chǎn)品放在地上) and sell in(出售),
尤其是many artists(很多搞藝術(shù)的),sell their own hand made products 在街上賣自己的手工品。
Braderie
銷售的物品:things they do not use anymore 家里用不著的二手東西
People who are interested can come and check it out
銷售時間:happen on a specific day 固定的一天
銷售物品:things they do not use anymore 家里用不著的二手東西
* They are considered an event
* It is very popular and does attract many people.
* Some roads are blocked.
* So there can be more space for people to sell their things.
In France there are street vendors that sell cheap souvenirs illegally.
帶一個包,里面裝著一些貨,隨手就會pull it out(拿出貨來賣),如果看到the police come by(警察過來),就會
quickly put it in the bag,然后 act like a normal tourist(假裝是普通游客)
There isn’t a culture of chasing after the customer
In China people often sell very similar products,
there is very high competition.
Having grown up in China ,早就習慣講價了she was used to bargaining.
中國的商家,都很努力地想賣貨, the sellers are very eager to sell their products
They will physically show it
Sellers do not have the same attitude. 你不買有別人來買,they will be ok with you walking away.
大部分商家都會對all of the foreigners walking by(路過的所有外國人)說:“l(fā)ook look”,因為大家都說同意就話,外國人也就ignore it.
* you will show that you care
* you can also find out what their preference is.
* Can I help you with something?
* What are you looking for? Maybe I can help you find it. 在找什么?說不定我能幫你找到。
* How are you doing? 外國人很喜歡這種small talk,聊聊天
* a comment on their appearance.夸獎一下他們的包包、衣服或者外形 比如:
I really like your bag it looks really nice.
( 這樣他們自己我感覺超級良好, 會 take a second look at your products)
Oh yes I would love to. I have actually done it and I think if I could do it again I would definitely sell food. More specifically French Crepes (可麗餅). I know people love it and I like baking so it would be very fun for me.
Programmer – Fix computers, Stick phone screen protections
Human resources – Fortune telling
Intern – Make coffee
