由于pandemic（疫情）的影響，一大批回國的外國人出不了國門，也來不了中國。

衛(wèi)普就是其中之一。

今天，就來聊一聊：

What do foreigners miss most about China. 回不來的外國人，最想念中國的…

1. Food 好想念中國飯！

I miss South Chinese food immensely. 非常想念中國的“南方飯”。

The food in China is so good I rarely missed my mother’s cooking .中國飯好吃到，很少想念媽媽燒的飯。

I really miss hotpot and Chongqing noodles. 最想火鍋和重慶小面

atmosphere: 氣氛

When you go to hotpot, it’s not just dinner, it’s an event. 火鍋不只是晚飯，更是社交活動。

澳洲人衛(wèi)普還記得來中國后，第一次吃火鍋的反應(yīng)：

It really angered me. 我很生氣，因為：

We had to pay money and then cook our own food. 自己cook, 還要交錢？

2. Shandong People 好想念山東人！

I’ve travelled to a lot of big cities in China. 在中國，去過很多大城市。

I have never felt more welcome than when I am in Shandong. 但從沒有像在山東那樣，感覺賓至如歸。

Shandong People are the most welcoming. 山東人是最好客的！

It’s not an advertisement. 不是廣告。

It’s real. 是真的

3. Convenience 好想念，中國的便捷！

Many Chinese people take it for granted. 很多中國人覺得“理所當(dāng)

From Didi to JD to Meituan , everything in China is incredibly convenient. 中國一切都極為便捷

買部手機(jī)， it came on the same day in the afternoon 當(dāng)天下午就到了

在澳洲， post usually takes a 5-7 working days 通常（至少）5-7個工作日。

Shopping online is a much better experience. 在中國，網(wǎng)購的體驗實在好太多！

4. Opportunity 好想念，中國遍地都是的機(jī)會！

There is so much opportunity in China. 在中國，有太多機(jī)會！

* 每次離職（left a job)后，the next day if I applied for another job I would always get it.

第二天，申請新的工作，總是能夠成功得到。

*在中國，想做什么，總能找到小伙伴，join you 或者h(yuǎn)elp you.

比如： English corner ， chess club(國際象棋俱樂部）, vegetarian club（素食者俱樂部）

會線上交流，線下見面。

在中國，A doors closes , a new one will open. 一扇門關(guān)了，就會有另一扇打開。

其他國家，可能情況不太一樣，

many people are out of a job 大批人失業(yè)

VIP’s work is struggling. 衛(wèi)普所在的公司也在艱難掙扎。

There isn’t as much diversity. 沒有中國的那么多的“工作機(jī)會的多樣性

5. My Teaching Job 好想念在中國當(dāng)老師！

I really miss working as a Teacher in China.

Even though I only taught on Fridays and Saturdays, 盡管，衛(wèi)普只在周五周六在一席教課。

It was one of the most fulfilling jobs I’ve ever had. 但是，這真的是幸福感最強(qiáng)的工作。

在中國做外教：

I had terrible teaching jobs. 在中國，也做過很奇葩的教學(xué)工作

If the vibe is right, I will give my heart to the school. 跟學(xué)校氣場對了的話，會把心掏出來。

* Chinese children really enjoy learning. 中國孩子都特別愛學(xué)習(xí)。

一席中外方老師們的心聲：

Teachers have the most important jobs in the world. 教師是世上最重要的工作之一。

They have the ability to make an impression on our future generation.老師們有能力去給未來一代留下印象。

It’s really important that our kids are in good hands. 要確保孩子們，能夠被精心照料好。

盼望國際疫情好轉(zhuǎn)，飛往中國的國際航班早日開通，衛(wèi)普能夠回到朝思暮想的中國，回到被孩子們熱愛的崗位，與一席小伙伴們一起值日（rostered to cook)，做三明治給大家吃!
