我們來看第二小題：臨危不懼是他的看家本領(lǐng)。His a crisis is ace in the hole. 參考答案為：strength，in，an。完整句子即：His strength in a crisis is an ace in the hole. 完成這道題，注意三個要點。

第一、掌握strength有在困境中有很大的勇氣和堅定的決心不因困難、威脅或者是誘惑等因素而改變自己原來的想法、信仰等等。It means "the quality of being brave and determined in a difficult situation". 譯為：毅力;意志力;堅強決心;堅毅剛強。 Let's look at the following sentences. 1. During this ordeal he was able to draw strength from his faith. 在這次磨難中，他從他的信仰中吸取到力量。(備注：During是“在某種情況的一段時間”的意思。Draw是“汲取”“吸取”“獲取”的意思。Draw strength意思是吸取力量。Draw strength from意思是從...吸取，汲取，獲取力量。)She has a remarkable inner strength. 她有非凡的意志力。(備注：Inner strength是“內(nèi)功”的意思。Have a strength意思是具有，擁有意志力。) 3. You've shown great strength of character. 你表現(xiàn)得很有毅力。(備注： strength of character 性格堅強 strength of will 意志堅強 strength of mind 思想堅強 show strength of something 顯現(xiàn)出在某當面的堅強)第二、掌握用crisis表述“處于危機中”“處于緊要關(guān)頭”這個意思介詞用in，即：in a crisis。Look at the following sentences. 1. He is a man who can be depended on in a crisis. 他是一個在患難時可以依靠的人。2. I learned that people can keep calm in a crisis. 我領(lǐng)會到即使處于危機中人還是可以沉著冷靜處事的。3. He is a person you can turn to in a crisis. 他是一個你在緊急關(guān)頭可以求助的人。(備注：turn to... 轉(zhuǎn)向依靠某人)4. She always come out in a crisis. 她總是在危機時出現(xiàn)。(備注：come out 出現(xiàn) 例如：She came out at the party last week. 她在上周的派對上出現(xiàn)了。)第三、就是注意不定冠詞在名詞前如果這個名詞的音標的第一個音標是元音的話，就要用an，不要用a。我們都知道這個概念，可是有時候會忽視，就一分之差就不能上北大，這時我曾經(jīng)的經(jīng)歷。越是細微之處，越是要謹慎再謹慎。
