第一、掌握strength有在困境中有很大的勇氣和堅(jiān)定的決心不因困難、威脅或者是誘惑等因素而改變自己原來(lái)的想法、信仰等等。It means "the quality of being brave and determined in a difficult situation". 譯為：毅力;意志力;堅(jiān)強(qiáng)決心;堅(jiān)毅剛強(qiáng)。 Let's look at the following sentences. 1. During this ordeal he was able to draw strength from his faith. 在這次磨難中，他從他的信仰中吸取到力量。(備注：During是“在某種情況的一段時(shí)間”的意思。Draw是“汲取”“吸取”“獲取”的意思。Draw strength意思是吸取力量。Draw strength from意思是從...吸取，汲取，獲取力量。)She has a remarkable inner strength. 她有非凡的意志力。(備注：Inner strength是“內(nèi)功”的意思。Have a strength意思是具有，擁有意志力。) 3. You've shown great strength of character. 你表現(xiàn)得很有毅力。(備注： strength of character 性格堅(jiān)強(qiáng) strength of will 意志堅(jiān)強(qiáng) strength of mind 思想堅(jiān)強(qiáng) show strength of something 顯現(xiàn)出在某當(dāng)面的堅(jiān)強(qiáng))第二、掌握用crisis表述“處于危機(jī)中”“處于緊要關(guān)頭”這個(gè)意思介詞用in，即：in a crisis。Look at the following sentences. 1. He is a man who can be depended on in a crisis. 他是一個(gè)在患難時(shí)可以依靠的人。2. I learned that people can keep calm in a crisis. 我領(lǐng)會(huì)到即使處于危機(jī)中人還是可以沉著冷靜處事的。3. She always come out in a crisis. 她總是在危機(jī)時(shí)出現(xiàn)。(備注：come out 出現(xiàn) 例如：She came out at the party last week. 她在上周的派對(duì)上出現(xiàn)了。)第三、就是注意不定冠詞在名詞前如果這個(gè)名詞的音標(biāo)的第一個(gè)音標(biāo)是元音的話，就要用an，不要用a。我們都知道這個(gè)概念，可是有時(shí)候會(huì)忽視，就一分之差就不能上北大，這時(shí)我曾經(jīng)的經(jīng)歷。越是細(xì)微之處，越是要謹(jǐn)慎再謹(jǐn)慎。
