Now have you found it? It is "better left unsaid ". 在這個(gè)短句中,better 作為副詞，是“更好地”意思，left 是leave的過(guò)去式，在這里作為系動(dòng)詞unsaid是unsay的過(guò)去分詞，但是隨著語(yǔ)言的發(fā)展，已經(jīng)成了獨(dú)立的形容詞了，better left unsaid 直譯就是更好地留著不說(shuō)出口，so the most pure translation of it in Chinese is: 還是不說(shuō)為好，還是閉嘴的好。

Sometimes, a boss will hold a meeting or give you a form to get your opinions , which is a gloss to represent he's enlightened ruler. But if you don't know your boss inside out, "Better left unsaid.
