The weeping parents wept in vain:
哭泣的父母白白地哭泣：
They stripped him to his little shirt,
他們剝光他只剩一件小襯衫，
And bound him in an iron chain,
用一條鐵鏈把他緊緊鎖起。
And burned him in a holy place
便把他在神圣的場所燒死，
Where many had been burned before;

The weeping parents wept in vain.
