① 表示“人群”時(shí)，要用people，不用men。

所有的街道到處都是人。

All the streets were full of men.

All the streets were full of people.

② people表示“人”時(shí)，是復(fù)數(shù)名詞，不可作單數(shù)用，可與two以上的數(shù)字連用。

I saw five peoples there.

I saw five people there.

我看到那兒有五個(gè)人。

I saw a people there.

I saw a man/a person there.

我看到那兒有個(gè)男子/人。
