為什么不能說"What do you want?"

用 want 表達(dá)“想要”，聽起來有 “索要” 的感覺。比如小寶寶對媽媽說：“Mom，I want the toy.”(媽，我想要這個(gè)玩具。)如果成年人之間使用“What do you want?”，多半是表達(dá)不耐煩。

來看柯林斯詞典對“What do you want”的解釋：

If you say to someone 'What do you want?', you are asking them in a rather rude or angry way.

即：如果你對某人說“What do you want?”，你是在用一種相當(dāng)粗魯或生氣的方式問他們。

所以What do you want? 所表達(dá)的是：

你想怎樣!
