QR Code

“二維碼”的英文是“QR Code”，這個很多同學(xué)應(yīng)該都知道。但“QR”是什么意思呢?

其實它是“Quick Response”的縮寫，反映出這種二維碼具有“超高速識讀”的特點。“Quick Response Code”也就是“快速響應(yīng)碼”。

QR碼(Quick Response code的縮寫)是一種矩陣條碼(或二維條碼)，最早于1994年在日本為汽車工業(yè)設(shè)計。

其實我們口中所說的二維碼字面直譯應(yīng)該就是two-dimensional barcode

bar code /?bɑ? ?k??d/ 的意思是“條形碼”，也就是我們之前最常見的衣服或者貨物上結(jié)賬時候機(jī)器掃的碼。

例：

Our customer will provide barcode labels to be applied to the product.

我們的客戶將提供用于產(chǎn)品的條形碼標(biāo)簽。

“掃碼支付”、“掃碼關(guān)注”、“掃碼加好友”英語怎么說?

可以翻譯為“Scan the QR Code to pay/follow...”

例：
