例：

其實self-drive跟holiday搭配時也可以表示自駕游，但它的用詞就表示了它的意思更偏向于自己開車這件事，而road trip則更符合我們對“自駕游”的解釋，是旅游者用“車”這個交通工具來完成旅行的一種方式，會自動聯(lián)想到在公路上享受旅行的狀態(tài)。

Self-drive holiday指的是你自己開車去你要去的地方，而不是坐飛機(jī)或長途汽車去那里。
