為什么這里的“雙”是dual而不是double?

我們先仔細(xì)看一下這兩個詞的解釋

Dual和double的區(qū)別

dual和double都表示“雙”，而dual強(qiáng)調(diào)同時的，雙重的，一個物體的兩面;double則強(qiáng)調(diào)數(shù)量上(量級的)兩倍。你可以說一個手機(jī)裝有2個SIM卡但是那并不代表這2個SIM卡在這部手機(jī)上都可以同時使用，從這一層面上講dual才是“雙卡雙待”最佳的用詞。簡單一點(diǎn)理解，dual就像是雙黃蛋，double則只是兩個蛋黃。

例：

According to the code we can expect a new iPhone that comes with dual SIM support, in a first for Apple.

根據(jù)編碼，我們可以看到新的iPhone將支持雙卡，這也是蘋果首次使用該功能。

“Subscriber Identification Module”，
