你以為cat's paw就是“貓爪子”么？

cat's paw出自《伊索寓言》。一只猴子想吃火中的栗子，但自己不去取，卻抓起貓爪子去取，結果燒壞了貓爪子。后來人們便用cat's paw來比喻很容易受騙或為別人做危險事情的人、替死鬼、替罪羊。

例：

The stupid fellow never realized that he was a mere cat's paw in the hands of his enemy.
