水果的“皮”到底是用peel，rind還是skin？

作為人的皮膚的意思，

形容某個(gè)人的皮膚就會(huì)用到

dark/fair/pale/tanned skin

暗黑／白皙／蒼白／棕褐色的皮膚

但除了人有皮之外，

其實(shí)水果蔬菜動(dòng)物也都有皮

那么描述它們的皮

我們都會(huì)用到哪些詞呢？

skin這個(gè)詞最常見(jiàn)，

意思也較多，

我們先從詞典上一一認(rèn)識(shí)一下

都可以用skin來(lái)描述，

但是也有一些特殊情況的

需要我們用到另外的詞，

（尤指水果和蔬菜被削掉的）外皮

zest

(某些水果或食物的)外皮，外殼，硬皮

它們之間有什么區(qū)別？

區(qū)別不是特別大。只有當(dāng)遇到特性特別明顯時(shí)，你需要注意區(qū)分。

當(dāng)我們把某種皮當(dāng)作調(diào)味料來(lái)說(shuō)時(shí)，就用zest。

Peel常指柑橘類、香蕉等的皮。橘子皮，檸檬皮，香蕉皮、蘋(píng)果皮的皮都可以用peel。指可以削或者可以剝的皮。Peel也可作動(dòng)詞，意思是“使水果或者蔬菜的皮與本身分離”，不能用在動(dòng)物上。

Rind描述皮時(shí)則指那些較厚較堅(jiān)硬的皮或者殼，像是西瓜的皮。它也經(jīng)常與芝士和肉搭配。

Skin作為名詞時(shí)可以用在蔬菜，某些水果，當(dāng)然還有人和動(dòng)物身上的。
