Zero hour這個(gè)慣用語始于1917年一次大戰(zhàn)期間，用來表示發(fā)動(dòng)某一項(xiàng)軍事行動(dòng)的時(shí)刻。負(fù)責(zé)下令的軍官會(huì)看著手表上的秒針倒數(shù)計(jì)時(shí)，一旦秒針走到零點(diǎn)，就會(huì)下達(dá)出動(dòng)指令。后來zero hour跳脫了軍事用語的局限，泛指生活中各種情況里的“關(guān)鍵、決定性時(shí)刻”。
