We use this expression to say that someone will benefit from trusting us or our opinions. It is common after asking for a favour.

我們用這個表達來說明某人會因為相信我們或我們的觀點而受益。尤其會在當你請人幫忙之后使用這個句子。

For example, the other day somebody was trying to sell me a vacuum /'vækj??m/ cleaner and I said

舉個例子，前幾天有個人想賣給我個吸塵器，我說：

"Why should I buy it?"

我為什么要買這個?

and he said

他回答道：

"If you buy it, you won't regret it. Your house will be clean forever."

如果你買了它，你不會后悔的。你的房子將會一直一塵不染。
