我情婦的眼睛一點(diǎn)不像太陽(yáng);珊瑚比她的嘴唇還要紅得多：

If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun; If hairs be wires, black wires grow on her head.

雪若算白，她的胸就暗褐無(wú)光，發(fā)若是鐵絲，她頭上鐵絲婆娑。

I have seen roses damask'd, red and white, but no such roses see I in her cheeks;

我見(jiàn)過(guò)紅白的玫瑰，輕紗一般;她頰上卻找不到這樣的玫瑰;

And in some perfumes is there more delight than in the breath that from my mistress reeks.

有許多芳香非常逗引人喜歡，我情婦的呼吸并沒(méi)有這香味。

I love to hear her speak, yet well I know that music hath a far more pleasing sound;

我愛(ài)聽(tīng)她談話，可是我很清楚音樂(lè)的悅耳遠(yuǎn)勝于她的嗓子;

I grant I never saw a goddess go; My mistress, when she walks, treads on the ground:

And yet, by heaven, I think my love as rare as any she belied with false compare.
