The Palace Museum in Beijing will expand the online sale of tickets on a trial basis starting in July.

今年7月起，北京故宮博物院將試行擴(kuò)大網(wǎng)絡(luò)售票規(guī)模。

The trial run will last from July to October to test the feasibility of online ticket sales for same-day visits,but tourists can still buy tickets at the entrances,according to the museum.

故宮方面稱，試運(yùn)行階段將從7月持續(xù)至10月，旨在測(cè)試網(wǎng)售當(dāng)日門票的可行性，不過游客仍可在入口處購票。

After the trial period, the Palace Museum will decide whether to phase out the sale of paper tickets andsell all tickets via the internet. This could possibly begin in the last 10 days of October.

試運(yùn)行階段結(jié)束后，故宮將決定是否淘汰紙質(zhì)門票銷售、門票全部通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)銷售，此措施或于10月下旬開始實(shí)施。

By the May Day holiday in 2018, the museum may offer tickets for different periods throughouta day, in a bid to avoid too many tourists at a time.

在2018年五一假期，故宮博物院將提供一天內(nèi)分時(shí)段的門票，以避免同一時(shí)間內(nèi)游客太過集中。

Currently, tourists can only book tickets online in advance, but they have to buy paper ticketsat the entrances if they want to visit immediately.

目前，游客只能在網(wǎng)上提前預(yù)定門票，如果想要即時(shí)參觀，他們就必須在入口處購買紙質(zhì)門票。

The Palace Museum began selling tickets online in September 2011. Currently about 50% of itstickets are sold online, with up to 70% booked online during holidays.

故宮于2011年9月開始實(shí)施網(wǎng)絡(luò)售票，目前故宮門票的網(wǎng)售率約為50%，節(jié)假日網(wǎng)上預(yù)訂門票占比最高達(dá)7成。
