Sandra: Hello! 你好!

Todd: Now, you are a wine connoisseur. Or wine teacher. No! 你現(xiàn)在是一名紅酒鑒賞家?；蛘呤羌t酒鑒定老師。

Sandra: Not really! 不完全是!

Todd: Not really? 不完全是?

Sandra: A wine connoisseur. No, that's sort of a snobby. 紅酒鑒賞家，不，那名字太夸張了。

Todd: Oh, really? 真的嗎?

Sandra: Yes. 是的。

Todd: Oh, OK. So, how would you describe what you do? 那你怎么形容你的職業(yè)?

Sandra: A wine professional. 一名紅酒品酒師。

Todd: A wine professional. OK, so what does a wine professional do? 品酒師。好的，品酒師都要做什么?

Sandra: Try to make money from wine. 從紅酒身上賺錢。

Todd: OK. 好的。

Sandra: So, I'm a wine writer, a wine columnist. I teach wine. 因此我還是一名紅酒作家，我在寫一個(gè)紅酒專欄。我還教課。

Todd: OK, so let's say if I'm going to have friends over, and I'm making let's say steak. I'm having a grilling steak. Can I serve wine with steak? 如果說我邀請朋友來做客，以牛排為主菜，燒烤牛排好了。我能用紅酒搭配牛排嗎?

Sandra: Yes. Steak goes with almost any red wine. 當(dāng)然，牛排和大多數(shù)紅酒都搭。

Sandra: You always start out with white wines going towards red wines. 我們通常都是先喝白葡萄酒，然后再過渡到紅酒的。

Todd: OK, always go white wine first, then the red wine. (Yes) OK, and how about for dessert. Is there a special dessert wine? 好的，先喝白葡萄酒再喝紅葡萄酒。那么甜點(diǎn)呢。有什么酒可以搭配甜點(diǎn)嗎?

Sandra: There are many great dessert wines, so it depends on what you like, how sweet you like and what you're making for dessert. 有許多可以搭配甜點(diǎn)的酒，具體要看甜點(diǎn)是什么了，還要看你喜歡的甜度和甜點(diǎn)的制作原料。

Todd: OK, so how about I'm making terimisu. 如果是提拉米蘇呢。

Sandra: Terimisu, then I would probably have a tawny port, either from Portugal or from Australia, which makes great ports, or you might even go for a fruity and oaky zinfandel, which is dry wine from California. 提拉米蘇，那么我建議搭配葡萄牙或者澳大利亞的茶色波特酒，效果會非常好。我甚至?xí)ㄗh你加上水果和馨芳葡萄酒，那是一種加利福尼亞的干白葡萄酒。

Todd: OK, nice. How much will that cost me? 好的。那要多少錢?

Sandra: Depends on how much you want to spend. For a port, a tawny port, anywhere in between 3,500 to 10,000 (OK) And for a California Zinfandel, a good one probably about 3,000 (yen). 這取決于你打算花多少錢了。波特酒，茶色波特酒價(jià)位在3500到10,000日元之間，加利福尼亞的馨芳葡萄酒，一瓶好的要3,000日元。

Sandra: I always start off with a sparkling wine. 我總是用含汽葡萄酒。

Sandra: Yes. I prefer champagne but if you can't afford it, even though champagne is the lowest price anywhere in the world is in Japan 是的。我喜歡用香檳酒，如果香檳酒太貴了的話就用它。雖然日本的香檳酒是世界上最便宜的香檳酒了。

Todd: Oh, really. 哦，真的。

Sandra: And many of my students load up on cases of champagne and have it sent home by their companies container. 我有很多學(xué)生所在的公司都是用集裝箱裝載滿香檳酒運(yùn)過去的。

Todd: Oh, wow. 哇。

Sandra: Yes. But champagne is a good starter. 是的。但香檳酒打頭陣是不錯(cuò)的。
