第583期:英語(yǔ)美文Time Is A Bank
上帝很公平，他公平地給每一個(gè)人每天24個(gè)小時(shí)，今天我們能就來(lái)分享一篇將時(shí)間比作銀行的文章。這篇文章中，用到了很多銀行中常用的術(shù)語(yǔ)，如：注銷，遺失，余額，透支，存款，取錢等，這些比喻非常的精巧，也恰恰說(shuō)明了時(shí)間的重要性，而且遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)比真實(shí)的存款還要重要。

Everyone has a bank. Its name is TIME. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft.
每個(gè)人都有一個(gè)銀行，它的名字叫"時(shí)間"。每天早晨，它在你的帳戶里存入86,400秒鐘。不管你是否很好地利用了這筆時(shí)間，每天晚上它會(huì)照例把這筆時(shí)間作為遺失注銷。它沒(méi)有余額，也不允許透支。
Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the records of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours.
每天它會(huì)為你開一個(gè)新帳戶，每晚它會(huì)把該天的記錄全部刪除。如果你沒(méi)有好好地利用當(dāng)天的這筆時(shí)間，那么損失由你自己承擔(dān)。
There is no going back. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow". You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness and success! The clock is running. Make the most of today: "Seize the day!"
沒(méi)有回頭路，也不能向"明天"借時(shí)間。你必須以今天的時(shí)間"存款"為基礎(chǔ)生活在現(xiàn)在。有效地投資這筆時(shí)間以便從中獲取有關(guān)健康，快樂(lè)及成功最大的收益。時(shí)鐘正在流逝。好好地利用今天："抓住每一天！"
