卡卡英語 第316期:命運(yùn)就在我們手中
假如人生可以重來，也許大部分人首先想改變的是自己的命運(yùn)，每個人多多少少會對自己命運(yùn)有些不滿。正如周星馳的電影《功夫足球》中的二師兄一樣，抱怨自己的父親讓他從小學(xué)功夫，最后落得洗馬桶，洗碗。他抱怨命運(yùn)不公，為什么自己的老爸不是李嘉誠，為什么自己要掉頭發(fā)。
但其實(shí)命運(yùn)真的是掌握在自己手中的。為什么呢？看看自己的手，你的雙手上清晰的呈現(xiàn)著事業(yè)線，愛情線，生命線等等，這不就是你的命運(yùn)嗎？要掌握自己的命運(yùn)，達(dá)成自己的心愿，就要堅(jiān)信命運(yùn)是可以通過自身的努力和提升改變的。古往今來的成功者，他們都是有著強(qiáng)烈的主觀性，習(xí)慣依靠自己，獨(dú)立思考，最終才從根本上掌握了并且主宰了自己的命運(yùn)。今天我們就來讀一篇英語美文，它講述的，也是這個道理。

A man leading a mediocre life went to visit the Zen master with doubts about destiny
He asked the master, "can you tell me there really exists a destiny?
"Yes," answered the master
"Am i doomed to be poverty-stricken all my life?"he asked.
The master asked him to extend his left hand and pointing out to him said, "Do you see clearly this horizontal line is called
the love line. the oblique line is the Career Line and another line is the Life Line."
Then the master also asked him to make a gesture following him-to clench the hand slowly, and then, tightly.
The master asked, "Now tell me where are these lines?"
"In my hand!"said the man, puzzled
"Then your destiny?"
The man came to take a tumble.
命運(yùn)掌握在我們自己的手中,我們一定要用心去呵護(hù)它。
一個過著庸庸碌碌生活的人帶著對命運(yùn)的疑問去拜訪禪師。
他問禪師。“你說真的有命運(yùn)嗎?
"有的。"禪師回答。
"我是不是注定會窮困一生呢?”他問
禪師就讓他伸出左手,指給他看說:“你看清楚了嗎?這條橫線叫愛情線,這條斜線叫事業(yè)線,另一條線就是生命線。"
然后禪師又讓他跟自己做一個動作,把手慢慢地握起來,握得緊緊的。
禪師問:“你說這幾根線在哪里?
那人迷惑地說“在我的手里?。?rdquo;
“命運(yùn)呢?”
那人終于恍然大悟。
