寶馬德系三大豪華品牌之一，寶馬的車系有1、2、3、4、5、6、7、i、X、Z、等幾個(gè)系列，還有在各系基礎(chǔ)上進(jìn)行改進(jìn)的M系(寶馬官方的高性能改裝部門)。

寶馬公司創(chuàng)建于1916年，總部設(shè)在德國(guó)慕尼黑。

BMW的藍(lán)白標(biāo)志寶馬總部所在地巴伐利亞州州旗的顏色。百年來(lái)，寶馬汽車由最初的一家飛機(jī)引擎生產(chǎn)廠發(fā)展成為以高級(jí)轎車為主導(dǎo)，并生產(chǎn)享譽(yù)全球的飛機(jī)引擎、越野車和摩托車的企業(yè)集團(tuán)，名列世界汽車公司前列。寶馬也被譯為“巴依爾”。

2016年3月7日 ，寶馬與百度正在首頁(yè)開(kāi)啟史無(wú)前例的互動(dòng)，共同向網(wǎng)友發(fā)出邀請(qǐng)，見(jiàn)證寶馬未來(lái)100年的駕駛樂(lè)趣。

BMW (Bavarian Motor Works in English) is a German car, motorbike and engine maker. It is well known for its high quality luxury vehicles. Its website states: “The BMW Group has its sights set firmly on the premium sector of the international automobile market.” The company has its roots in aircraft engines. Its blue and white logo signifies an airplane propeller cutting through a blue sky. It moved to the production of motorbikes after World War I, andautomobiles in 1928. The company bought the MINI brand in 2001 and owns Rolls Royce. The BMW group produces almost 1.5 million cars and 90,000 motorbikes a year. BMW is heavily involved in motorsport. It won the Paris-Dakar rally six times and the F1 driver’s championship once. The company’s current slogan is “Joy is BMW”.
