It will be preceded by Fimbulwinter, the winter of winters. Three such winters will follow each other with no summers in between. Conflicts and feuds will break out, and all morality will disappear. This is the beginning of the end.

諸神黃昏的序幕是芬布爾之冬，傳說中比冬天更為嚴(yán)酷的凜冬。三個(gè)漫長(zhǎng)嚴(yán)冬接連而至，沒有夏天。世界爆發(fā)各種沖突和斗爭(zhēng)，道德淪喪、人性毀滅。這是末日的開始。

After the Fimbulwinter, the enemies of Asgard ['æsga:d] will unite and attack. Gods and Jotun (giants) will battle to mutual annihilation.

芬布爾之冬之后，諸神所居的仙宮阿斯加德遭到敵人的聯(lián)合進(jìn)攻。眾神與巨人將在末日大戰(zhàn)中同歸于盡。

Odin the All-Father will die in combat with Fenrir, a gigantic animal whose two sons will eat the moon and the sun.

眾神之父奧丁在與魔狼芬里厄的對(duì)決中被后者吞噬，這個(gè)巨型野獸的兩個(gè)兒子會(huì)吃掉月亮和太陽。

Thor will kill Jormungandr, the serpent so large it encircles Midgard, but dies from its poison.

雷神索爾將殺死環(huán)繞“中庭”的巨蟒耶夢(mèng)加得，但被后者的毒液毒死。

Heimdall and Loki will kill each other. 守護(hù)神海姆達(dá)爾和火神洛基同歸于盡。

Freyr — the powerful god of harvest — will fall to Surtr, the flaming, giant lord of Muspelheim, world of fire.

Surtr will then fling fire in every direction. The nine worlds will burn, and friends and foes alike will perish. The earth will sink into the sea.

索爾 Thor

Thor was the son of Odin and Fyorgyn, the earth goddess. He is a hammer-wielding god associated with thunder, lightning, storms and strength.

索爾是奧丁和大地之神嬌德的兒子。這個(gè)揮舞著錘子的神與雷電、暴雨和力量相關(guān)。

He had a red beard and eyes, he was huge in size, he had an insatiable appetite and not much wit. Thor was the strongest of all gods and men.

他長(zhǎng)著紅胡子、紅眼睛，體型巨大，胃口也如無底洞，頭腦簡(jiǎn)單，是眾神和凡人中最強(qiáng)壯的存在。

Generally good-natured, Thor had a hot temper, and his anger was dreadful to behold. 索爾平時(shí)很隨和，但也是個(gè)火爆脾氣，他發(fā)起火來是非?？膳碌?。

He was a fierce enemy of the frost giants. When people heard thunder and saw lightning in the sky, they knew that Thor was fighting these evil giants.

The thunder god's chief weapon was his mighty hammer Mjollnir, which the dwarfs had forged for him.

Loki's relation with the gods varies by source; Loki sometimes assists the gods and sometimes behaves in a malicious manner towards them.

She is described as having been appointed by the god Odin as ruler of a realm located in Niflheim. Her appearance is described as half blue and half flesh-coloured and further as having a gloomy, downcast appearance.

海拉被奧丁指派掌管冥界。據(jù)描述，她的身體一半藍(lán)色、一半肉色，外表陰郁低沉。

奧丁 Odin

Odin is associated with healing, death, royalty, the gallows, knowledge, battle, sorcery, poetry and frenzy, and is the husband of the goddess Frigg.

奧丁主要與治愈、死亡、王權(quán)、絞刑、知識(shí)、戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)、魔法、詩歌、狂暴，他的妻子是北歐神話中的女神弗麗嘉。

He is often accompanied by his animal companions — the wolves Geri and Freki and the ravens Huginn and Muninn, who bring him information from all over Midgard — and rides the flying, eight-legged steed Sleipnir across the sky and into the underworld.
