　　對(duì)于GRE閱讀考試中，長(zhǎng)難句也是阻礙大家閱讀理解的一個(gè)重要成分。因此在平時(shí)的備考中，我們也要重點(diǎn)來(lái)練習(xí)GRE考試中的長(zhǎng)難句，爭(zhēng)取攻克這些難點(diǎn)內(nèi)容，幫助我們更好地拿到GRE閱讀的高分。

　　1. Unlike most of the world's volcanoes, they are not always found at the boundaries of the great drifting plates that make up the earth's surface; on the contrary, many of them lie deep in the interior of a plate.

　　2. The relative motion of the plates carrying these continents has been constructed in detail, but the motion of the plates with respect to another cannot readily be translated into motion with respect to the earth's interior.
