全國綠化委員會辦公室3月12日發(fā)布的一份公報顯示，我國科學(xué)綠化持續(xù)深入推進(jìn)，2022年全國完成造林383萬公頃。目前，我國森林覆蓋率達(dá)24.02%。
China has made new strides in advancing afforestation in 2022, with the area of newly planted forests totaling 3.83 million hectares, according to a report from the National Greening Commission on Sunday. The country's forest coverage rate rose to 24.02 percent in 2022, according to the report.

森林覆蓋率是指森林面積占土地總面積的百分比，森林包括喬木林、竹林和國家特別規(guī)定的灌木林。3月12日，全國綠化委員會辦公室發(fā)布《2022年中國國土綠化狀況公報》顯示，目前，我國森林面積2.31億公頃，森林覆蓋率達(dá)24.02%。 　　
根據(jù)公報，我國科學(xué)綠化持續(xù)深入推進(jìn)，2022年，中國印發(fā)《全國國土綠化規(guī)劃綱要(2022—2030年)》，開展造林綠化空間適宜性評估。全年完成人工造林120萬公頃，飛播造林17萬公頃，封山育林104萬公頃，退化林修復(fù)142萬公頃。新增水土流失治理面積6.3萬平方公里，打造生態(tài)清潔小流域496個。在7省區(qū)開展防沙治沙綜合示范區(qū)建設(shè)。 　　
公報顯示，我國城鄉(xiāng)綠化美化同步推進(jìn)，綠化質(zhì)量逐步提升。授予26個城市“國家森林城市”稱號，全國國家森林城市數(shù)量達(dá)218個。100余個城市開展了國家園林城市建設(shè)，全國各地建設(shè)“口袋公園”3520個。全年完成公路綠化里程近10萬公里，鐵路線路綠化率達(dá)87.32%。 　　
公報還顯示，2022年林草資源保護(hù)管理成效明顯，生態(tài)美百姓富取得新成果。全面建立林長制，全國各級林長近120萬名；全年森林草原火災(zāi)受害率持續(xù)保持歷史低位。全年林草產(chǎn)業(yè)總產(chǎn)值達(dá)到8.37萬億元。

We have acted on the idea that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets. We have persisted with a holistic and systematic approach to conserving and improving mountain, water, forest, farmland, grassland, and desert ecosystems, and we have ensured stronger ecological conservation and environmental protection across the board, in all regions, and at all times. China’s ecological conservation systems have been improved, the critical battle against pollution has been advanced, and solid progress has been made in promoting green, circular, and low-carbon development. This has led to historic, transformative, and comprehensive changes in ecological and environmental protection and has brought us bluer skies, greener mountains, and cleaner waters.
