AZUZ: An internationally famous musician suddenly passed away yesterday. The artist known as Prince, whose full name was Prince Rogers Nelson, died at his home in Minnesota. He was 57 years old.

國際知名的音樂家昨天突然去世。被稱為內(nèi)爾森(Prince)，全名為普林斯·羅杰斯·內(nèi)爾森，在他的家鄉(xiāng)明尼阿波利斯市去世，終年57歲。

Prince pioneered what`s known as the Minneapolis sound. It`s described as a mixture of synthpop and new wave. Some of his music was controversial and contributed to the creation of parental advisory labels on albums.

內(nèi)爾森開創(chuàng)了所謂的明尼阿波利斯之音。它被看作是合成流行音樂與新浪潮音樂的結(jié)合體。他的一些音樂是有爭議的并導(dǎo)致專輯被貼上由家長指導(dǎo)的標(biāo)簽。

Over the course of his career which spanned from the 1970s until now, Prince won seven Grammy Awards and was nominated for 30. The musician had cancelled a concert earlier this month after saying he wasn`t feeling well.
