南塔開特水手丙:

歇歇啊...哎呀!這比在無風(fēng)的海上劃小艇追大鯨還要精...給我們噴口煙吧,塔斯。
They cease dancing, and gather in clusters. Meantime the sky darkens-the wind rises.
他們都停止跳舞了,一群群地聚在一起。這時天空變黑起風(fēng)了。
LASCAR SAILOR
東印度水手:
By Brahma! boys, it'll be douse sail soon.
千真萬確!伙伴們,帆快要給扯下來了。
The sky-born, high-tide Ganges turned to wind! Thou showest thy black brow, Seeva!
來自上天的。怒潮高漲的恒河起風(fēng)嘍!你板起你的黑臉吧,濕婆神呀!
MALTESE SAILOR (Reclining and shaking his cap)
馬耳他島水手:(躺在那里抖著他的帽子。)
It's the waves--the snow's caps turn to jig it now.
這是海浪呀!現(xiàn)在輪到雪帽跳舞了。
They'll shake their tassels soon.
纓帶也快要抖動啦。
Now would all the waves were women, then I'd go drown, and chassee with them evermore!
這些海浪要是女人的話,那我就跳將下去,永遠(yuǎn)跟它們舞下去!
There's naught so sweet on earth--heaven may not match it!As those swift glances of warm, wild bosoms in the dance, when the over-arboring arms hide such ripe, bursting grapes.
地上可沒有這么甜蜜...天堂也許還比它不上!跳起舞來,那些一閃閃的。暖烘烘的。熱狂的胸脯呀,還有那藏在粗大的胳膊下的熟得要暴開來的葡萄。
SICILIAN SAILOR (Reclining)
西西里水手:(躺著)
Tell me not of it! Hark ye, lad--fleet interlacings of the limbs-lithe swayings-coyings-flutterings! lip! heart! hip! all graze:
別對我說這些話!聽著,小伙子...四肢交錯如飛...柔軟的擺動...羞答答的...抖來抖去...嘴唇,胸脯,屁股!全都碰到啦:
unceasing touch and go! not taste, observe ye, else come satiety. Eh, Pagan? (Nudging.)
不住的接觸又分開!可別去嘗試,得留神,否則,就要吃脹了。是么,異教徒?(用胳膊肘兒輕輕地推著)
TAHITAN SAILOR (Reclining on a mat)
塔希提水手:(躺在席子上)
Hail, holy nakedness of our dancing girls!--the Heeva-Heeva! Ah! low veiled, high palmed Tahiti!
嗨,我們的舞女的神圣裸體呀!希瓦...希瓦(一種塔希提的舞蹈。)呀!啊,帳篷低低,棕櫚高聳的塔希提!
