時差N小時:新疆絲路文物展將從臺北開跑

Some 150 priceless artifacts from the Silk Roadera, including a remarkably well-preserved femalemummy unearthed in Xinjiang in northwesternChina, are now being exhibited at Taiwan's NationalMuseum of History in Taipei.

包括在中國西北部邊疆出土的木乃伊在內(nèi)的大約150件絲綢之路時期的文物，正在位于臺北的臺灣歷史博物館展覽。這些文物大都極其貴重。

Speaking at a press conference, museumdirector Huang Yung-chuan said the exhibition willfeature pre-Qin Dynasty metal vessels, textiles from the Han and Jin dynasties, Wei and JinDynasty wall paintings and Tang Dynasty silk paintings discovered in China's Xinjiang UyghurAutonomous Region, part of what was formerly known as the Western Territories and a vitalhub on the Silk Road.

在新聞發(fā)布會上，博物館主任黃永軍說道，這次展覽以先秦的金屬器皿、漢晉時期的紡織物、魏晉時期的壁畫，以及在中國新疆維吾爾自治區(qū)發(fā)現(xiàn)的唐代絲綢畫為主要特色。而新疆維吾爾自治區(qū)作為中國西部領(lǐng)土，以及絲綢之路上重要的樞紐為人們所熟知。

The organizer made particular mention of one highlight called the "Loulan Beauty," afemale Caucasian mumy dating back around 3,800 years that still has hair, skin and organs thatremain undecayed and which created shockwaves in archaeological circles upon its discovery.

展覽承辦人員特別提到了傳說中的“樓蘭公主”，一具可追朔到3800年前的高加索木乃伊，尸體沒有腐化，仍保存有頭發(fā)，皮膚和器官，因其產(chǎn)生的微波使其得以被考古界發(fā)現(xiàn)。

The exhibition will continue until mid-March next year, according to museum officials.

博物館工作人員透漏，展覽會持續(xù)到明年3月中旬。

The Silk Road was a trade route that extended for over 7,000 km, over 1,700 km of whichwas inside China, which connects Asia and the Mediterranean region. It starts in the east in theChinese city of Changan and ends in the west in what is now the Turkish city of Istanbul,formerly known as Constantinople, which was at one time the capital of the Eastern RomanEmpire.

絲綢之路是一條綿延7000千米的貿(mào)易路線，其中有1700千米在中國境內(nèi)。絲綢之路連接了亞洲和地中海。東起始于中國古城長安，向西到達如今的土耳其伊斯坦布爾。伊斯坦布爾就是古時的君士坦丁堡，是東羅馬帝國的首都。
