Sometimes people come into your life and you knowright away that they were meant to be there; theyserve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson orhelp figure out who you are or who you want tobecome. You never know who these people may be: your roommate, neighbor, professor, long-lost friend, lover or even a complete stranger whom when you lock eyes with, you know thatevery moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.

有時，當一些人進入你的生活時，你馬上就會認識到他們注定是要在那兒的。他們的出現(xiàn)是由于某種目的：教育你，或者讓你明白你是誰，或者讓你知道你想成為什么樣的人。你永遠都不會知道那些人將會是誰——你的室友、鄰居、教授、好久不見的朋友、愛人，甚至陌生人。當你仔細觀察他們，你就會立刻知道他們對你的生活有了巨大的影響。

Sometimes things happen to you and at the time they may seem horrible, painful and unfair,but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have neverrealized your potential, strength, willpower or heart. Everything happens for a reason. Nothinghappens by chance or by means of good or back luck.

有時，會有一些事情發(fā)生在你身上，它們似乎很恐怖、痛苦、不公平，但在另一方面，你會發(fā)現(xiàn)，如果你沒有克服這些困難，你永遠都不會意識到自己所擁有的的潛能、力量、意志力和情感。所有發(fā)生的事情都有原因，沒有什么事情是偶然發(fā)生的，沒有什么事情是由好運或厄運造成的。

The people you meet who affect your life, and the successes and downfalls you experience,create who you are; even the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probablythe most poignant and important ones.

你所遇到的人會影響你的生活，你所經歷的成功與挫敗使你成為現(xiàn)在這個樣子。即使是不好的經歷，你也可以從中汲取教義，哪些課程會非常痛苦，但同時卻又是最重要的。

Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possiblycan, for you may never be able to experience it again. Talk to people you have never talkedbefore, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high. Holdyour head up, tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself.

讓每一天都過得有價值，珍惜你活著每一刻，利用它們做一些你可以做的事情，因為，當這一刻過去了，你就永遠都無法再把它經歷一遍了。和你從未說過話的人聊一聊，實際上更多是聆聽。放手去愛吧，然后解放自己，存志于高遠。昂起你的頭，告訴你自己你是一個非常有個性的人,相信你自己。
