【詞義辨析】

modern, contemporary, current, recent, present,up-to-date

這些形容詞均有“現(xiàn)代的、當(dāng)代的”之意。

modern指現(xiàn)代或近代，時(shí)期可長可短;也可指新穎、時(shí)髦的。

aim在指“旨在”時(shí)，后常接at和動(dòng)名詞(英國)，或接不定式(美國)。

在使用aiming時(shí)，英國人常接不定式，不過要盡量避免...ing at ...ing的格式;

take aim(瞄準(zhǔn))和take good aim里不加冠詞an或a;

和aim搭配的介詞不可以隨意互換。

aim, goal, purpose, end, target, object, objective
