通常我們習(xí)慣的表達(dá)方式里都沒有in...form,如in popularform(以通俗的形式),in book form(以書的形式);
good form 和bad form表示“有禮貌和沒禮貌”,form前不加a或者the,也不加s;
a new form of book指“一本新型的”,也有some new forms of books的表達(dá)方式;

【詞義辨析】
list, catalog(ue), register, roll, schedule, table, chart, form
這些名詞均含“名單、目錄、表格”之意。
list最普通用詞,含義廣。指按字母順序、時間先后或類別等排列的姓名或項目等的單子。
catalog(ue)指列出有全部隊名、物名或項目等的目錄,有時指附有簡要說明的分類名單或一覽表。
register多指官方對人或事作出的正式書面記錄或詳細(xì)清單。
roll多指人員的姓名名單,尤指屬于團(tuán)體或軍事單位的全體人員名單。

這是他描繪農(nóng)民的一幅作品。
effort指“努力”時,是抽象名詞,不可直接用于make后。只能以an effort,efforts,every efforts等形式出現(xiàn);
表示相反的狀態(tài)時,用without effort或without great effort中,注意是單數(shù)effort;
effort可用于以下句型中:Effort has been made to...(不定式),Effort has been directed to...(介詞)或make special effort to...(不定式)等。
