　　1 Travaling by train in England

　　1.在英國搭乘火車

　　Peter: Good morning. Could you tell me the times of trains to London, please?

　　彼得：早安。請告訴我去倫敦的火車發(fā)車時間好嗎?

　　Booking clerk: Yes. There are trains at 7:59,9:18, and 10:32.

　　售票員：好的。7點59分、9點18分和10點32分各有一班。

　　Peter: What time does the 7:59 train get to London?

　　彼得：7點59分的火車幾點到達倫敦?

　　Booking clerk: At 9:36.

　　售票員：9點36分。

　　Peter: What about coming back? I'd like to come back at about 7 p. m.

　　彼得：回程的時間呢?我想在晚上7點左右回來。

　　Booking clerk: There's one at 7:10 p. m. and the next one is at 7:40 p. m.

　　售票員：晚上7點10分有一班，再下一班是7點40分。

　　Peter: Mmm, how much is a return ticket?

　　彼得：喔，回來票多少錢?

　　Booking clerk: If you get on before 4 p. m. or after 6 p. m. ,there is a saver return which is 9 pounds. An ordinary return is 16 pounds.

　　售票員：如果您在下午4點之前或6點之后上車，有優(yōu)惠票價9英鎊的當天來回票。普通來回票要16英鎊。

　　Peter: An ordinary return, please

　　彼得：請給我普通來回票。

　　2 Travaling by train in America

　　2.在美國搭乘火車

　　Adam: What time does the train for Boston leave?

　　亞當：去波士頓的火車什么時候開?

　　Booking clerk: 9:25 on Platform 12, Track B.

　　售票員：9點25分，在12號站臺，B軌道。

　　Adam: When does it arrive?

　　亞當：什么時候抵達波士頓?

　　Booking clerk: It should be there at 11:45, but it may be a little late.

　　售票員：應該是11點45分到，不過有時候會誤點。

　　Adam: How much is a one-way ticket?

　　亞當：單程票一張多少錢?

　　Booking clerk: It's $32.00.

　　售票員：32美元。
