It follows confirmation that some doctors, who treated Andreas Lubitz, judged him unfit to fly, but failed to alert his employers, because of patient confidentiality laws. The French Prosecutor, Brice Robin, speaking through a female translator, said an investigation was trying to establish whether manslaughter charges should be brought in connection with the case. He was taking antidepressants, and he had been on sick leave for ten days. And some of the doctors found that he was very down, very unsure of himself, tense. And some of them believed that he was not apt to fly. Andreas Lubitz told doctors that he was only sleeping two hours at night and feared he was going blind.
