　　[正] Having heard the news, everybody felt excited.

　　注：漢語中把主、謂語同時否定以表示肯定，但這不符合英語習慣，所以 nobody...not 的結構在英語中是不正

　　確的。翻譯這類句子時，可像上面正確的譯文那樣，把主語和謂語都改成肯定形式;也可用“there be + 否定的主語 + 否定形式的定語從句”來表達，即：There was nobody who did not feel excited 或者 There was nobody but felt excited.
