    他們預(yù)定關(guān)閉港口的全部交通。
    *intend 一詞具有表示企圖的 design.

11) What will you do now?
    現(xiàn)在你要怎么辦？
    *will you do...和 do you intend to do ...同樣意義。

12) He has a mind to become a revolutionary.
    他有當(dāng)革命家的胸襟。
    *mind 有“思考、意向、心情等”之意，但 have a mind to do...是具有“想做”之意。

13) He can't really mean to work against us, can he?
    他不可能故意妨礙我們的，對(duì)嗎？
    *mean 就是 have intention to 之意。

14) David must figure on at least seventy strong men for support.
    戴維至少須把七十個(gè)壯漢的協(xié)助計(jì)算進(jìn)去。
    *figure on 是 take into consideration，意思是“列入考慮”。
