　　1 .表示比較的狀語(yǔ)從句：這類從句都由than 或as 引起：

　　She likes Danny better than she likes me .

　　她喜歡丹妮勝過(guò)喜歡我。

　　He can run faster than I do .

　　他跑得比我快。

　　It is not so difficult as you think .

　　它沒(méi)有你想的那么困難。

　　She is not so energetic ass she used to be .

　　她不像過(guò)去那樣充滿活力了。

　　有時(shí)許多詞省略，只剩下一個(gè)詞：

　　She is four years younger than me .

　　她比我小四歲。

　　It made him queerer than ever .

　　這使他變得比過(guò)去更古怪。

　　She was as much interested in music as ever.

　　她還是和過(guò)去一樣對(duì)音樂(lè)有興趣。

　　She is as clever as ( she is )beautiful.

　　她聰明又美麗。

　　2 .方式狀語(yǔ)從句：這類從句多由as , as if , as though , like 等引起：

　　He was allowed to do as he liked.

　　他們?cè)试S他愛(ài)怎么干就怎么干。

　　It swims on the sea floor just as its ancestors did.

　　在海底游動(dòng)，就像的祖輩那樣。

　　I like the freedom to plan my day exactly as I want.

　　She treats him as if he was her own son .

　　她把他像親兒子一般對(duì)待。

　　He looked like he had seen a ghost .

　　他看起來(lái)就像見(jiàn)到鬼了似的。

　　你講起話來(lái)就像你爸爸。

　　I was never allowed to sing the way I wanted to.
