　　1.這是一種非常常見的句型，最常見的是“主語+及物動詞+賓語+形容詞”:

　　What made you so angry?

　　什么事使你這樣生氣?

　　Most people considered him innocent.

　　多數(shù)人都認(rèn)為他是無辜的。

　　I want the letter ready tomorrow.

　　我要這封信明天就準(zhǔn)備好。

　　Then he declared the rally open.

　　然后他宣布大會開始。

　　Have your tickets ready.

　　把票準(zhǔn)備好。

　　She dyed the curtain purple.

　　她把窗簾染成了紫色。

　　They decided to set him free.

　　他們決定釋放他。

　　2.有時可以用it作形式上的賓語，而把真正的賓語放到句子后部去：

　　I felt it necessary to speak about my shortcomings.

　　我感到有必要談?wù)勎业娜秉c。

　　I think it best that you should stay here.

　　我認(rèn)為你留在這里最好。

　　I have to make it clear that my family is poor.

　　我得說清楚我家里很窮。

　　3.有時可用名詞作賓語補(bǔ)語：

　　They elected him president.

　　他們選他當(dāng)了總統(tǒng)。

　　He appointed her director of the farm.

　　他任命她為農(nóng)場場長。

　　We named the child Janet.

　　我們給孩子取名杰妮特。

　　I thought it good advice.

　　我認(rèn)為它是好意見。

　　We must keep the matter a secret.

　　這事我們必須保密。

　　They considered him a superb tennis player.

　　他們認(rèn)為他是一位球藝精湛的網(wǎng)球手。

　　4.可用于被動結(jié)構(gòu)：

　　The door was painted gray.

　　門被漆成了灰色。

　　Finally they were set free.

　　最后他們被釋放了。

　　He was called“Little Tiger”.

　　他被稱作“小老虎”。

　　The ship was christened the Queen Mary.

　　這艘船被命名為瑪麗皇后號。
