他是個(gè)樂(lè)天派。

good-time Charlie 直譯過(guò)來(lái)就是：“貪圖尋歡作樂(lè)的查理”。俚語(yǔ)中經(jīng)常會(huì)用到人名以象征某種意義，而Charlie一般就指那些傻傻的人、笨蛋，所以這個(gè)短語(yǔ)的正確意思是：“無(wú)憂(yōu)無(wú)慮者，樂(lè)天派”。因此，當(dāng)美國(guó)人說(shuō)"He's a good-time Charlie."時(shí)，他/她要表達(dá)的意思就是:"He is a happy-go-lucky person."、"He is an optimist."。
