你要有主見(jiàn)啊。

have a mind of one's own 這句習(xí)語(yǔ)就是：“有自己的意見(jiàn)、想法”的意思，也就是漢語(yǔ)里面說(shuō)的：“自在主張，性格果斷”。因此，當(dāng)美國(guó)人說(shuō)"You should have a mind of your own."時(shí)，他/她要表達(dá)的意思就是:"You should have your own opinions."、"You should make your own decisions."、"You should not get governed by the views or choices of others."。
