HuoYingdong, a great and kind businessman who achieved a lot of successes in the modern society, died in September, 2006.

HuoYingdong was born in Hong Kong in May, 1923. Having been a worker, he helped to manage a small shop. And then he set foot in real estate, after which he established Macao Tourism 霍英東，著名的慈善商人，于2006年9月去世。他一生取得了相當(dāng)大的成就。

Entertainment Company. In 1994 he was rewarded as honored PHD by American university. In 1995 he was rewarded as honored PHD in society by Hong Kong University. In 1995 he won the silver prize which was set up by The International Olympic Committee.

1923年5月霍英東出生于香港。他當(dāng)過(guò)工人，幫著經(jīng)營(yíng)過(guò)小商店。之后他涉足于房地產(chǎn)事業(yè)，然后創(chuàng)辦了澳門(mén)旅游娛樂(lè)公司。1994年被美國(guó)的一所大學(xué)授予人文學(xué)名譽(yù)博士學(xué)位。1995年被香港大學(xué)授予社會(huì)科學(xué)名譽(yù)博士學(xué)位。1995年獲國(guó)際奧委會(huì)奧林匹克銀質(zhì)勛章。

What was most admired is that he was rewarded the Great Redbud Medal by Hong Kong government.
