There is a common phenomenon in our daily lives, during the period from 1975 to 1985, film goers declined dramatically from 85,000 to about 12,000, while TV-watchers sprung up from 5,000 to 100,000.

在日常生活中有這樣一個(gè)普遍現(xiàn)象,那就是從1975年到1985年，去電影院看電影的觀眾從85,000驟減到12,000，而電視觀眾則從5,000激增到100,000。

As to the reasons, we may consider the following aspects. With the popularity of TV in our households, more and more people want one because of its cheapness and convenience; on the other hand, TV programs can offer us more options at the same time.

我們可以從以下方面考慮該現(xiàn)象的原因。隨著電視在家庭的普及，越來(lái)越多觀眾被它的廉價(jià)和方便所吸引;另一方面，電視節(jié)目給觀眾提供了更多選擇。

Nevertheless, films have not fully give their way, some people still prefer going to the cinema. They feel the audio-visual effects offered in the cinema is a permanent temptation.
