Lesson 23 A new house

課文內(nèi)容：

I had a letter from my sister yesterday. She livesin Nigeria. In her letter, she said that she wouldcometo England next year. If she comes, shewill get a surprise. We are now living in a beautifulnew house inthe country. Work on it had begunbefore my sister left. The house was completed fivemonths ago. In my letter, I told her that she couldstay with us. The house has many large rooms andthere is a lovely garden.It is a very modern house, so it looks strange to some people. It mustbe the only modern house in the district.

語(yǔ)法歸納：

there be句型和it is句型之間的區(qū)別

一句話總結(jié)：there be句型和it is句型差別很大。具體如下：

1) there be意為“這有”，而it is意為“它是”。

2) there be后常接名詞作主語(yǔ)，而it is后常接名詞或形容詞作表語(yǔ)。

3) it is中的it是主語(yǔ)，有可能作形式主語(yǔ)，而there be是該句型的謂語(yǔ)，

精講筆記:

1、I had a letter from my sister yesterday.

昨天我收到了姐姐一封信。

語(yǔ)言點(diǎn) 本句等于：I received a letter from my sister yesterday.

如果這么表達(dá)則與Lesson4課文第一句句型相同。

2、She lives in Nigeria. In her letter, she said that she would come to England nextyear.

她住在尼日利亞。在信中她說(shuō)明年地將來(lái)英國(guó)。

3、If she comes she uill get a surprise.

如果她來(lái)了，她將會(huì)感到非常驚喜。

語(yǔ)言點(diǎn) surprise = amaze = astonish = astound 使……吃驚

重點(diǎn)掌握關(guān)于amaze的搭配：

例句：I was amazed to see a UFO yesterday.

昨天我看到了一個(gè)不明飛行物，大吃一驚。(UFO: Unidentified Flying Object不明飛行物)
