“十點(diǎn)，我們在我爸的商店門口集合。”
[00:02.62]His eyes flickered to Edward again, wondering if he was giving out too much information.
他的眼睛又一次飛快地掠過愛德華，想知道自己是不是透露了太多信息。
[00:07.96]His body language made it clear that it wasn't an open invitation.
他的身體語言清楚地表明了這不是一個(gè)公開的邀請。
[00:11.73]"I'll be there," I promised.
“我會(huì)去的。”我保證道。
[00:14.42]"I'll see you in Gym, then," he said, moving uncertainly toward the door.
“那么，體育館見。”他說著，不太確定地向門口走去。
[00:18.65]"See you," I replied.
“回見。”我應(yīng)聲說道。
[00:20.59]He looked at me once more, his round face slightly pouting, and then as he walked slowly through the door, his shoulders slumped.
他又看了我一會(huì)兒，圓圓的臉上露出了不悅。然后他耷拉著肩膀，慢吞吞地走出門去。
[00:27.96]A swell of sympathy washed over me. I pondered seeing his disappointed face again… in Gym.
一股不斷膨脹的同情襲擊了我。我思索著，想到自己還得再看一次他那張失落的臉……在體育館里。
[00:34.31]"Gym," I groaned.
“體育館。”我呻吟了一聲。
[00:36.75]"I can take care of that." I hadn't noticed Edward moving to my side, but he spoke now in my ear. "Go sit down and look pale," he muttered.
“我能照看好自己。”我這才注意到，愛德華站到了我的身旁。但他緊貼著我的耳朵低聲說道：“去那邊坐下來，裝出蒼白虛弱的樣子。”他的聲音近乎呢喃。
[00:45.68]That wasn't a challenge; I was always pale, and my recent swoon had left a light sheen of sweat on my face.
這不是什么難事。我一向很蒼白，而且剛剛的昏厥讓我的臉沁出了一層薄汗。
[00:52.89]I sat in one of the creaky folding chairs and rested my head against the wall with my eyes closed. Fainting spells always exhausted me.
我坐在其中一張吱嘎作響的折疊椅上，頭抵著墻，閉目養(yǎng)神。暈厥總讓我筋疲力盡。
[01:00.88]I heard Edward speaking softly at the counter.
我聽見愛德華站在柜臺旁柔聲說著話。

“柯普女士?”
[01:05.47]"Yes?" I hadn't heard her return to her desk.
“怎么了?”我沒聽見她回到她的桌子上的聲音。
[01:09.41]"Bella has Gym next hour, and I don't think she feels well enough.
“貝拉的下一堂課是體育課，我覺得她還沒恢復(fù)到能上體育課的地步。
[01:14.30]Actually, I was thinking I should take her home now. Do you think you could excuse her from class?"
事實(shí)上，我覺得我應(yīng)該現(xiàn)在就把她送回家去。您看，能不能準(zhǔn)許她下堂課請假呢?”
[01:20.22]His voice was like melting honey. I could imagine how much more overwhelming his eyes would be.
他的聲音甜得像融化的蜂蜜一樣。我甚至能想象出，他的眼神會(huì)是多么的令人難以抗拒。
[01:25.92]"Do you need to be excused, too, Edward?" Ms. Cope fluttered. Why couldn't I do that?
“你也需要準(zhǔn)假嗎，愛德華?”柯普女士急不可耐地說道。為什么我就做不到這一點(diǎn)呢?
[01:31.90]"No, I have Mrs. Goff, she won't mind."
“不必了，我有高夫太太呢，她不會(huì)介意的。”
[01:35.39]"Okay, it's all taken care of. You feel better, Bella," she called to me. I nodded weakly, hamming it up just a bit.
“好了，一切都安排好了。你感覺好些了吧，貝拉。”她遠(yuǎn)遠(yuǎn)地沖我喊道。我虛弱地點(diǎn)點(diǎn)頭，為了顯得更夸張一些，我只是略微抬了抬頭。
[01:43.36]"Can you walk, or do you want me to carry you again?" With his back to the receptionist, his expression became sarcastic.
“你能走路嗎?或者你想讓我再把你抱出去?”一背對著那位接待員，他立刻換上了一副挖苦的表情。
[01:50.48]"I'll walk."
“我能自己走。”
