在馬車下面
A farm boy accidentally overturned his wagon loadedof corn. The farmer who lived nearby heard thenoise.
農(nóng)場的一個男孩不小心弄翻了裝滿玉米的馬車。住在附近的農(nóng)夫聽到了動靜。
"Hey Willis!" the farmer yelled, "Forget your troubles.Come in with us. Then I'll help you get the wagon up."
“嗨，威利斯，”農(nóng)夫叫道，“別管它了，過來和我們待會兒。一會兒我?guī)湍惆阉饋怼?rdquo;
"That's mighty nice of you," Willis answered, "but I don't think Pa would like me to."
“您真是太好了，”威利斯答道，“但是我想爸爸不希望我這樣做。”
"Aw, come on," the farmer insisted.
“咳，來吧，”農(nóng)夫堅持著。
"Well, okay," the boy finally agreed, and added, "but Pa won't like it."
“那么，好吧，”男孩最終同意了，可是又加上一句，“但是爸爸不會喜歡的。”
After a hearty dinner, Willis thanked his host, "I feel a lot better now, but I know Pa is going tobe real upset."
吃了豐盛的一餐后，男孩感謝熱情的主人：“我現(xiàn)在感覺好多了，但是我知道爸爸一定真的很難過。”
"Don't be foolish!" the farmer said with a smile, "By the way, where is he?"
“別傻了!”農(nóng)夫笑著說：“順便問一句，你爸爸在哪兒?”
"Under the wagon!"
“在馬車下面。”
