你吞了我的襪子!
A young man and a young woman were soon to bemarried, but they both had a problem they had nevertold anyone else about.
一對年輕人就要結(jié)婚了，可是他們各自都有一個(gè)毛病從沒跟對方說過。
The man approached his father the day before thewedding and told him about his problem. His feet REALLY stunk, even if he washed themconstantly, he was worried that this wound scare off his new bride, so he needed a solution,fast.
小伙子在婚禮前一天去找爸爸商量。他的問題是他的腳實(shí)在是太臭了，雖然他經(jīng)常洗。他擔(dān)心自己的臭腳會把新娘子嚇跑，所以他需要爸爸幫他想一個(gè)立竿見影的辦法。
His father pondered the situation and finally told his son to wear socks constantly (even tobed) and always wash his feet whenever he got a chance.
爸爸思前想后終于想到一個(gè)方法。他要兒子一直穿著襪子(上床睡覺時(shí)也不例外)，并且只要有機(jī)會就隨時(shí)洗腳。
Meanwhile the young lady approached her mother and told her about her problem. Her morningbreath was bad. Her mother reassured her that everyone had bad morning breath. The youngwoman told her mother that she got really horrid morning breath.
與此同時(shí)，準(zhǔn)新娘也在找媽媽幫忙。她的問題是睡覺起來后會有口臭。媽媽安慰她說每個(gè)人起床后都會有口臭，可是她告訴媽媽她的口臭確實(shí)非常嚴(yán)重。
The mother thought about this and told her daughter to get up earlier than everyone else andnot say a thing, go make breakfast and then brush her teeth while the others are eating. Theyoung woman thought and then ran off to get ready for the wedding, happy.
媽媽想了想后要她這樣做：每天早上趕在所有人前面起床，起床后不要說話馬上去做早飯，然后在別人吃飯的時(shí)候去刷牙。準(zhǔn)新娘想了想就高興地跑開為婚禮做準(zhǔn)備去了。
The couple is married and they are happy, him with his perpetual socks and her with hermorning silences.
這對年輕人結(jié)婚后幸福地生活在一起。他一直穿著襪子，她起床后保持沉默。
One morning about 5:00 a.m. the young man wakes up to find one sock missing. He startsrustling around in the bed looking for it, which of course wakes up his wife, who withoutthinking asks what's worng.
一天早上5點(diǎn)鐘的時(shí)候，他醒來發(fā)現(xiàn)一只腳上的襪子不見了，就開始在床上狂找一氣，這樣當(dāng)然就把他的妻子吵醒了。她想都沒想，張嘴就問他在干什么。
With a look of shock on his face the young man says, "OH MY GOD! You've swallowed mysock!"
他一臉震驚地說：“天哪!你吞了我的襪子!”
