[00:00.01]Unit 8 Talking Parrot 第8單元 會說話的鸚鵡 [00:08.33]A lady was walking down the street to work. 一名女士走路上班時經過一家寵物店， [00:11.43]A parrot was perched on the side-walk outside a pet store. 看到有只鸚鵡棲息在店外人行道上。 [00:16.05]The parrot said to her, “Hey lady, you are really fat.” 那只鸚鵡對她說：“喂，小姐，你好胖哦?！? [00:21.24]Well, the lady is very angry!She stormed past the store to her work. 想也知道這名女士聽了很生氣!便怒氣沖沖地經過這家店上班去了。 [00:26.45]On the way home she saw the same parrot and it remarked to her, “Hey lady, youare really fat.” 下班回家路上，她又看到同一只鸚鵡，結果鸚鵡又開口對她說：“喂，小姐，你好胖哦?！? [00:35.01]She was very pissed off now. 她這回被惹毛了。 [00:37.06]The next day the same parrot again said to her, “Heylady, you are really fat.” 第二天，同一只鸚鵡又對她說同樣的話：“喂，小姐，你好胖哦。” [00:45.46]The lady was so ticked that she went into the store and told the store manager shewould sue the store and kill the bird. 這名女士火冒三丈，沖進店里跟老板說她要告這家店，把那只鸚鵡給宰了。 [00:54.41]The store manager replied, “That’s not good,” and promised the parrot would not call her fat again. 老板回答：“這樣不好吧!”并向她保證那只鸚鵡不會再說她胖了。 [01:02.35]When the lady walked past the store that day after work the parrot called to her, “Heylady.” 這名女士那天下班經過這家店時，又聽到鸚鵡在叫她：“喂，小姐?！?
