第17單元 朝圣
White. As far as he could see. A sea of white. This was Mohammad's dream. He had spent a whole year working and saving up enough money for his trip.
白色，舉目望去都是白色，一大片白色。這是穆罕穆德做的夢。為了踏上旅程，他花了一整年的時間工作，并存到足夠的錢。
After a lot of hard work, he flew to Mecca to partake in the world's biggest pilgrimage. Now, he walked with over a million people, all dressed in white. Men, woman and children. It was going to be a challenging three days with very little food and water.
經(jīng)過不停地努力工作，他終于飛到麥加準(zhǔn)備參加世界上最大的朝圣之旅。如今，他和一百多萬人一起走著路，大家都穿著白色衣服，其中有男有女，也有小孩在里面。僅靠極少量的食物和水要撐過三天，將會是一項艱難的挑戰(zhàn)。
On the first day, Mohammad was excited. He talked to people he met along the journey. The sun was very hot. By the second day, he was tired and the sun seemed much hotter.
第一天，穆罕穆德還蠻興奮的，旅途中也會和他遇到的人交談。那天太陽很大。第二天，穆罕穆德開始覺得累，而且太陽似乎更熱了。
There were people everywhere, in front of him, behind him. Sometimes he tripped and fell onto people. But, it would all be worth it. "After the pilgrimage, I will ba a new man. I will feel closer to Allah."
他前后到處都是人，有時還會失足跌倒撞到別人。不過他心想這一切都是值得的，因為朝圣后，我就是新的人，更會有和真神阿拉靠得更近的感覺。
The third day came, and he finished tired and sore. He had done what he came to do. He was very proud of himself.
到了第三天，他終于帶著全身的疲憊和酸痛完成朝圣之旅。他完成了他這一趟旅行的目的，替自己感到非常驕傲。
