　　1. 解詞釋義

　　Stick的意思是“堅(jiān)持”，短語(yǔ)stick to的意思是“堅(jiān)持做某事”。Stick to one’s guns的字面意思是“堅(jiān)持拿著自己的搶”，比喻為“堅(jiān)持立場(chǎng)”。

　　2. 拓展例句

　　e.g. Pumpkin, I hear that some of the students at your school are fooling around with drugs. But I hope, young woman, that you stick to your guns and keep saying no!

　　e.g. People usually look down upon social climbers.

　　人們通常瞧不起社會(huì)上那些攀龍附鳳的人。

　　Ps 2：right now是表示時(shí)間的副詞性短語(yǔ)，意思是“馬上，現(xiàn)在”。例如：

　　e.g. I'll lay odds that Dean is at your office right now.

　　e.g. Right now the poor old devil's drinking himself silly.

　　Ps 3：standpoint的意思是“立場(chǎng)，看法，觀點(diǎn)，看問(wèn)題的角度”。對(duì)話中“without one’s won standpoint”的意思是“沒(méi)有主見(jiàn)”。例如：from the standpoint of the customer的意思是“從顧客的角度來(lái)說(shuō)”。再如：

　　He believes that from a military standpoint, the situation is under control.

　　他認(rèn)為從軍事角度來(lái)看，局勢(shì)已得到控制。

　　Ps 4：consider是考慮的意思，注意它的結(jié)構(gòu)，它后面可以接2個(gè)名次，即：consider sb. sb.，第二個(gè)sb.是做第一個(gè)sb.的賓語(yǔ)補(bǔ)足語(yǔ)。實(shí)際上，它的用法是consider sb. as sb，這里省略了解詞as。例如：

　　He will be considered a weak leader.

　　他會(huì)被認(rèn)為是個(gè)軟弱無(wú)能的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人。
