習(xí)語(yǔ)：above board

Exp. Board是木板的意思，above board是個(gè)固定搭配，常用來(lái)指“在桌面上”或“正大光明”，與under the table相對(duì)。

Eg. The deal was completely above board.

這筆交易是完全光明正大的。

Eg. If all your dealings have been above board, you need have no fear of their being investigated.

如果你的買(mǎi)賣(mài)都光明正大，就不必害怕調(diào)查。

Eg. There' s nothing secret about what we' re doing, it' s all perfectly above board.

我們做的沒(méi)有什么保密，完全是正大光明的。

迷你對(duì)話：

A :Whatever we do , we should do itabove board.
