Mate (n.) - Colloquial term for friend. n. 伙伴，配偶，同事

如：He is looking for a wife but he hasn't found his ideal mate.

他正在尋找未來(lái)的妻子，但還沒(méi)有找到理想人選。

The male hunts for food while his mate guards the nest.

雌性動(dòng)物守巢時(shí)，雄性動(dòng)物獵食。

Pushy (adj.) - Over-enthusiastic. adj. 強(qiáng)求的

如：He made himself unpopular by being so pushy.

他特別喜歡出風(fēng)頭，所以人緣不好。

Both (adj.) - Two of something. adj. 兩者的

如：She kissed him on both cheeks.

她吻了他的雙頰。

Energetic (adj.) - Having a lot of energy. adj. 精力旺盛的，有力的，能量的

如：He seems an energetic person.

Her wiry athletic body seems energetic.

Invitation (n.) - An offer to take part in or attend something. n. 邀請(qǐng)，招待，邀請(qǐng)函，引誘，招致

如：He made a refusal of her invitation.

他拒絕了她的邀請(qǐng)。

She may be offended if you don't reply to her invitation.

她請(qǐng)你，你要是不回個(gè)信兒就可能把她得罪了。
