清華自主招生取消文科專業(yè)引熱議，文科生到底要不要慌？

每個(gè)學(xué)校都會(huì)提前錄取哪些專業(yè)?誰有資格報(bào)名?考試流程是什么?都是大家關(guān)心的問題。

Many of China's top universities, including Tsinghua University and Peking University, will start annual independent recruitment tests in the next two months.

未來兩個(gè)月，包括清華大學(xué)和北京大學(xué)在內(nèi)的許多中國頂尖大學(xué)將開始一年一度的自主招生考試。

The test, initiated in 2003, is a part of China's educational reforms, giving conditional offers to students who exhibit talents or achievements in specific fields so that they may enter the university with lower admission scores.

作為中國教育改革的一部分，自主招生始于2003年，其目的是對在特定領(lǐng)域表現(xiàn)出天賦或成就的學(xué)生給予有條件的錄取，使他們可以以較低的錄取分?jǐn)?shù)進(jìn)入大學(xué)。

每年各大高校自主招生的政策和標(biāo)準(zhǔn)都會(huì)有些不同，但今年的變化卻上了熱搜。

Earlier this month, the brochures handed out by many top universities have triggered backlash online – people noticed that a few top universities canceled tests for the liberal arts this year.

本月早些時(shí)候，許多頂尖大學(xué)發(fā)放的招生簡章在網(wǎng)上引發(fā)了強(qiáng)烈反響——人們注意到，一些頂尖大學(xué)取消了今年的文科考試。

以清華為例，在其3月28號發(fā)布的自主招生簡章中，人文與社會(huì)類、法學(xué)類等2018年自主招生中出現(xiàn)的文科專業(yè)都被取消了。

而山東大學(xué)等高校也取消了哲學(xué)、中文等專業(yè)的自主招生考試。

Meanwhile, Shandong University has canceled tests for philosophy, Chinese literature and history, while math, information technology and engineering remain.

同時(shí)，山東大學(xué)也取消了哲學(xué)、中文和歷史的自招考試，而數(shù)學(xué)、信息技術(shù)和工程學(xué)等仍然保留。

此消息一出，就引發(fā)了網(wǎng)友的熱烈討論，不少人表示對文科生的未來持悲觀態(tài)度。

Many argue that those who have achievements and talents in literature and the social sciences will no longer be allowed to take part in the independent tests.

許多人認(rèn)為，那些在文學(xué)和社會(huì)科學(xué)方面有成就和天賦的人將喪失參與自主招生的機(jī)會(huì)。

Netizens are saying that such actions constitute discrimination against liberal arts students. Many have expressed pessimism over the future of liberal arts students。

網(wǎng)友們表示，這樣的行為是對文科學(xué)生的歧視，許多人對文科學(xué)生的未來表示悲觀。

清華大學(xué)招生辦負(fù)責(zé)人接受新京報(bào)記者采訪時(shí)表示，清華大學(xué)自主招生的目標(biāo)是選拔具備基礎(chǔ)學(xué)科和特色學(xué)科方向特長及創(chuàng)新潛質(zhì)的學(xué)生，符合條件的文科、理科考生均可申請，清華大學(xué)自主招生取消文科專業(yè)屬于誤讀。

比如清華的招生簡章中明確指出：學(xué)生可不受自身文理分科限制進(jìn)行申請。其中許多專業(yè)，比如建筑類，經(jīng)濟(jì)、金融與管理類都是文理兼招，符合條件的學(xué)生都可以申請。

Even though liberal arts subjects are not included, students are still qualified to apply for the tests. As the Tsinghua recruitment brochure states, subjects such as economics, finance and architecture are open to both liberal arts and science students.

即使文科科目不包括在自主招生考試內(nèi)，文科學(xué)生仍然有資格申請參加考試。如清華大學(xué)招生簡章所述，經(jīng)濟(jì)、金融和建筑等專業(yè)對文科和理科學(xué)生都開放。

此外，不少高校并沒有取消文科專業(yè)的自主招生。

比如北京大學(xué)、中國傳媒大學(xué)等：

Peking University, however, are holding tests for science subjects such as astronomy, computer science and biology, as well as liberal arts subjects such as history, Chinese literature, international relations and archaeology.

不過，北京大學(xué)將對天文學(xué)、計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)和生物學(xué)等理科科目及歷史學(xué)、中文、國際關(guān)系和考古學(xué)等文科科目進(jìn)行自招考試。

For those who want to join the media industry, the Communication University of China will also recruit students in journalism and publishing in the independent recruitment tests.

對于那些想進(jìn)入傳媒行業(yè)的學(xué)生來說，中國傳媒大學(xué)依然將在自主招生考試中招收新聞出版專業(yè)的學(xué)生。

其實(shí)今年的自主招生有兩個(gè)變化最明顯，一是自主招生的優(yōu)惠分?jǐn)?shù)降為原則上不超過20分。而在去年，清華大學(xué)的自主招生優(yōu)惠降分最高可達(dá)到60分，部分特別優(yōu)秀的學(xué)生的錄取優(yōu)惠甚至可以降至本一線。

二是體育測試成績被納入自主招生考核內(nèi)容——學(xué)?？蓪Ⅲw測成績納入總分或作為參考。以清華大學(xué)為例，如果一名學(xué)生在獲得自主招生優(yōu)惠條件后，還擁有優(yōu)秀的體測成績，那么他可以獲得額外的5分降分。
